Variety: 100% Mencía. Red Wine.
Vinification: Traditional cold maceration in stainless steel tanks.                                                    Temperature: 9-11º C.                                                                                                                                                   Alcohol Content: 12,5º C.

Tasting: Violet well covered color with purple highlights. Aromas of berries, red fruits from the forest, moss and even mineral notes. It is live in the mouth. Fruit remains and stands over the wood. Lively acidity and a delicate smoky background. A young wine in the burgundy style. A wine from the Spanish Western Atlantic, very mineral, fresh and tasty. With a long aftertaste in mouth. (6 € - 8 $). (92/100).

Food pairing: It goes with a wide range of dishes. Stews, small game, blue fish. Legumes.





ENRIQUE MENDOZA PETIT VERDOT

Variety: 100%  Petit Verdot. Red Wine.
Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 24 days at 27 ° C. Malolactic in stainless steel tanks. 14 months in barrels (9 American oak Oregon, 5 months in French oak Allier a year).                           Temperature: 16º-17º C.                                                                                                                                                  Alcohol Content: 14º C.
Tasting: Cherry red color with purple hues. Deep aroma of black berries (blackberries, blueberries ...), black plum. Licorice and toast and smoky notes also appreciated. The palate is powerful, deep and persistent. Very tannic, it is balanced between fruit and wood. It is a wine with a long final to enjoy in company. (12 € - 15 $). 94/100.
 Pairing: Combines well with game dishes, red meats, cold meats, pâté, certain fresh cheeses.


XIMÉNEZ SPINOLA Exceptional Harvest

Variety: Pedro Ximénez. White wine.
Vinification: Manual grape harvest at the time the grape is over-ripe. Maceration in stainless steel tanks, aged 4 months in American oak on its lees, and battonage.
Temperature: 9-11º C.                                                                                                                                               Alcohol Content: 12,5º C.
Tasting: Golden yellow color with golden highlights. It is very aromatic, perfumed, with floral notes reminiscent of honey. We can also perceive ripe white fruit (peach and apricot), and also, candied fruit and mango. The palate is oily, smooth and lively, with the initial characteristic sweetness of Pedro Ximenez grape; whereas soft salty notes give the counterpoint. Its marked acidity appears highly integrated, resulting in a dry and long ending in mouth. An ocean of mixed feelings. A powerful aftertaste makes this wine a unique, complex and amazing product. (20 $ /18.5 €). 94/100.
Food pairing: An ideal accompaniment to a wide variety of dishes, from smoked fish/meats, to white meats. And also Ibericos (Spanish Ham), cheeses, patés, elaborate salads.



 


XAMPRADA

Xamprada, Extrabrut Rosado

Variety: Mencía and Godello. Rosé sparkle wine.
Vinification: Maceration in stainless steel tanks.                                                                                  Temperature: 6º-8º C.                                                                                                                                                Alcohol Content: 13,5º C.
Tasting: It has a very intense strawberry color. Very aromatic and fruity nose, with aromas reminiscent of strawberries, raspberries, cherries and citrus. Also floral aromas of the Mediterranean forest, violets, roses. Fresh and persistent on the palate, highlighting a light at the beginning carbonic maceration fruit. It maintains a very balanced acidity with fruit. (7 € - 9 $). 91/100.
Pairing: Ideal for rice, pasta, salads, oily fish and white meats.


LA VI y SOÑÉ

Variety: 100% Viognier. White wine.                                                                                                                                 
Vinification: Manual grape harvest. Vineyards at  1200- 1380 high metres.                                   Temperature: 8º-9º C.                                                                                                                                                 Alcohol Content: 14º C.

Tasting: Deep golden color. A little bit murky due to its natural elaboration. It has a very fruity nose, with aromas of ripe apple, which at times reminiscent of cider; quince and citrus. The taste is a lively wine, with a marked acidity that gives a nice blow of freshness. The flavors of apple, cider, predominate on a background of green fruit. An easy-drinking wine, very citrusy and above all, different. With a great value. (10 € - 13 $). 93/100.
Pairing: A different wine, properly for salads, some type of pasta, rice dishes, paté, cheeses, white fish, and seafood.
