We introduce three wines with an unbeatable price quality, to the point of wondering, but, do really these wines at this price exist? The answer is yes, they do, in Bierzo, León, Spain. The three wines come from the same wine maker, Raúl Pérez, and the same grape variety, 100% mencía. As a curiosity, the three wines come from Valtuille de Abajo, a small village of 150 inhabitants and hometown of the famous Bercian winegrower.

In the heart of Bierzo (León, Northwest Spain), is located Valtuille de Abajo, a small village surrounded by its old vineyards, and there the winemaker Jose Antonio Garcia has its winery . A small producer who quickly changed his two both restaurants in Barcelona to come up a new business in this region, Bierzo, a land wellknown for its mencia grape, and to develop some of the most interesting wines there.
En pleno corazón del Bierzo, al pie del Castro Ventosa, se encuentra Valtuille de Abajo, un pequeño pueblo rodeado de viñedos viejos y allí, tiene su bodega el viticultor Jose Antonio García. Un pequeño productor que en poco tiempo ha pasado del mundo de la hostelería en Barcelona, a elaborar algunos de los vinos más interesantes del Bierzo.

In the middle of the region of Bierzo (León) in northwestern Spain, it is located the small village of Valtuille de Abajo, surrounded by some of the best vineyards in the appellation. Dominates the area, a hill on which is settled the ancient town of pre-Roman origin, Castro Ventosa or Castro Bergidum, from where you can enjoy of some of the best views of the region.
.....And, if the god Bacchus would exist, would be called RaúlPérez, and would have their particular heaven in Valtuille de Abajo.

...Y es que, si el dios Baco existiese, se llamaría Raúl Pérez, y tendría su particular cielo en Valtuille de Abajo.
