Vintage 2017
Variety: 100% Tempranillo grape                                                                           Elaboration: Vineyard of 25 years. Manual harvest in boxes. Aged for 7 months in 300 and 600 liter barrels and refined in French oak foudres. Its elaboration is respectful with the environment in all the phases of the process.
Service temperature: 15º - 17º C.
Alcohol: 14º C.

Tasting: Visually this red wine has a cherry color with purple edges. On the nose it is very aromatic, aromas reminiscent of berries, balsamic notes. Very lively in the mouth with a slightly spicy entry that brings back memories of black pepper. Candied black plums, raisins, red berries, mineral notes; and integrated woods. Fresh, light, while long and persistent.
€ 9-10. *
* Great value for the price.

Pairing: El Holgazán is a wine that, due to its freshness, pairs well with a wide variety of dishes. White meats, (poultry and Iberian pig), blue fish such as tuna, mackerel, horse mackerel, some kinds of pasta, rice, mushroom dishes, and even under-cured cow's cheese. For the occasion we pair this wine with an excellent “cecina” (beef jerky), from León. A successful combination.
