Godeval Cepas Vellas 2013, ranked 36th in the world for Wine Spectator




Godeval valdeorras winery has one of its brands godello in the prestigious list of the 100 best wines in the world each year takes the American magazine Wine Spectator. In the 36th position Viña Cepas Vellas 2013 Godeval stands with 92 points and becoming the only Galician white wine (Valdeorras) found on this list.





In the top of the best wines in the world this year there are 11 Spanish wines and among them, only one Galician, Godeval Cepas Vellas 2013 Vineyard in the post 36. In the description in the listing of the magazine make this wine 100 % godello on lees speak: "This white attractive delivers a wide range of flavors with a smooth texture, a fresh white, with well integrated acidity that keeps the spotlight. Melon, coconut, smoky and spicy flavors are harmoniously blended into a soft and luxurious taste. Mineral elements are fresh and persistent. Godello. Drink now through 2018.






The appearance of the list of this American publication takes place since 1998 and year after year has been growing in popularity in the first edition 3,000 wines were tasted and the majority came from Italy, France and the United States. Over the years they have expanded borders and this year report that they have tasted more than 18,000 wines from 63 wine regions. Work by nine experts has finally come out the Top 100.
